Food is very good. You have got to try the shrimp bisque - to DIE for!! Be prepared to wait. Long lunch line- owner and front desk people snotty and rude- but waiters are pleasant.

The Cottage is located in what used to be a small mall here in Alexandria. There are a couple of stores left in this mall but the Cottage, I believe, is the main draw here. They offer a good meal that is much like home cooking. It is fairly quiet and business people eat here often.
